Meet Our Team

Legacy Campus has an exceptional team of certified teachers and industry professionals to lead its Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways. Our instructors combine classroom expertise with real-world experience, giving students authentic, hands-on learning opportunities. Nearly half of our staff are career teachers, and the other half come directly from industry, including an Executive Head Chef with more than 20 years of experience at organizations such as Hilton and the PGA Tour. Our aviation program is led by two veteran pilots and our architecture pathway is led by an award-winning principal architect (for example), all of whom bring a wealth of knowledge and a passion for teaching. We also partner closely with ACC faculty who teach in several of our health science pathways. This unique blend of education and industry experience helps students build the skills and confidence they need for success in college, careers and beyond.
What is your favorite lesson that you teach the students?
“It would probably be the patient assessment because patience is the key to everything. You have to be able to do a good assessment because that leads to your potential diagnosis and then your treatment. It’s kind of like a cornerstone of what we need to do. As far as a long-term lesson that’s kind of woven amongst everything is the people piece – about how to talk with people, how to interact with people, how to be respectful of people, how to learn from other people, and how to appreciate differences. That is huge. To be able to interact with potentially everybody – anybody – I think is huge. But that, I wouldn’t say that’s a single lesson. That’s just kind of an ongoing lesson all the way through the program.”
