The DCSD Legacy Campus recently celebrated its inaugural Signing Day, recognizing students who have secured industry positions before graduation. Similar to an athletic signing day, when students announce where they will compete at the college level, this event honored students as they committed to future employers and career opportunities connected to their pathway programs. We are looking forward to Legacy Campus' Senior Awards Ceremony, to be held on May 13th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Legacy Campus. During this special invitation-only event, we will honor seniors who have earned industry certificates along with meeting a high standard of excellence, recognize the Students of the Year in each pathway, and present specialty awards. Teachers will notify the seniors that will be recognized with a formal invitation by April 20th.

Students should dress to impress, bring printed resumes, and be prepared to ask questions about future employment & careers. Real, preliminary interviews conducted this day with some local partners. Make connections, walk away with job opportunities, & plan for the next steps in your career!
