A MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTORS:
Thank you to all the students who submitted an application to attend the DCSD Legacy Campus in the fall. We have had an overwhelming interest in many pathways and are happy to see so much student interest in this new opportunity. We have finished our first round of application reviews, and, at this time, all students who applied should have received an email confirming your status (Accepted or Waitlisted).
We have a few spots remaining in architecture, culinary/hospitality, robotics/building controls technology, future educator, CISCO/secure network technologies, and EMT, so we will be opening another round of applications starting Monday, April 3rd. The applications for pathways with spots available are on our website, under each pathway homepage. The applications will remain available until the respective pathway is full.

--- PATHWAY HIGHLIGHT ---
FUTURE EDUCATOR
Through a partnership with University of Colorado Denver School of Education & Human Development, we are pleased to add a dual enrollment pathway for high school students who want to be future teachers/educators. These courses then transfer into degree programs for early childhood, elementary, or special education pathways. Students will have an opportunity to participate in a field experience and gain up to 24 college credits through UCD.

DCSD FOUNDATION GRANTS
We are so excited and grateful to receive two grants from the DCSD Foundation to support two pathway programs next school year. Our Advanced Robotics pathway will receive $5000 to purchase materials for students to create competition robots and the Aviation pathway will also receive $5000 to provide virtual reality googles for the simulation classroom. Their generous gift is greatly appreciated and will be put to good use.
