Automotive Technology - EV/Hybrid

The Legacy Campus Automotive Technology Pathway offers a two-year, hands-on training experience for grades 11–12. Housed in a fully equipped 9-bay shop with lifts, alignment equipment, tire service, and modern diagnostic tools.  LC Auto Tech pathway focuses on ASE Education Foundation Maintenance & Light Repair standards (and Hybrid Vehicle/Electric Vehicle Safety and Operation). Students learn safety practices, shop operations, the three C’s of diagnostic procedures while building professionalism, teamwork, and communication skills. Learners can earn ASE Entry-Level Certifications, AC 609, Snap-On NC3 and work toward industry specific certifications. Over the duration of the program learners may earn up to 14 Concurrent enrollment credits through Arapahoe Community College and work toward their AAS Advanced EV Certificate. Work-based learning is emphasized through site visits, job shadows, internships, and employer partnerships, giving students authentic career connections. Graduates are ensured a competitive advantage and workforce readiness preparation for apprenticeships, post-secondary training programs, manufacturer training, or entry-level technician roles.
