Electrical Technology

The Electrical Technology Pathway provides students with the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to enter one of the most in-demand trades. Students begin by learning electrical safety, OSHA 10 standards, electrical theory, and the National Electrical Code. They then move into practical training with conduit bending, electrical construction drawings, and residential and commercial installations and troubleshooting.

In addition to preparing for the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) certification, students benefit from direct connections to local contractors and industry leaders. Through these partnerships, students can gain real-world experience, may begin their state-registered apprenticeship, and will build a clear path toward careers in the electrical and construction trades. Graduates of the pathway leave with the skills, credentials, and industry relationships to confidently take their next step into this high-demand field.
