Message from the Directors:

With the conclusion of the 2023-23 school year, we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the next school year and our grand opening! This summer is already packed with the arrival of furniture, the training of new staff members, and the final touches on construction.

We are planning our DCSD Legacy Campus Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for August 2nd. All members of DCSD and the community are welcome to the reception and open house starting at 4:45pm where you can walk through the new campus spaces and preview the exciting opportunities we have planned for our inaugural class of students.

We are also holding a Back to School Event for our students on August 8th from 1-3:00pm. We look forward to all students who are registered for classes at the DCSD Legacy Campus next year. They will be getting parking/bus passes, uniforms, materials, etc. We will also have food trucks and games set up in the courtyard. Families are welcome to accompany their students.

Enjoy your summer break! Our next newsletter will come out August 1st, so we will see you soon!

Architecture Engineering

DCSD students will have the opportunity to take architectural classes at the Legacy Campus, earn college credit through Arapahoe Community College, and can earn industry certificates such as CAD, Solidworks, and Revit.

While taking these courses, students begin working toward an Architectural Drafting Certificate which can contribute to pre-architecture associate and bachelor degrees with additional classes, and allows students to be immediately employable in the industry.
